Mazel Construction Ltd. is responsible for the creation of the Buckingham Condos in 1975. The 19-storey building at 714 The West Mall and 716 The West Mall is home to a grand total of 434 Etobicoke condos, plus some pretty enviable common spaces. Residents have access to a gym, sauna, and indoor pool, as well as underground parking and a concierge.
The Suites
One great thing about older buildings is the variety of homes found within them — and this is especially true for a building like the Buckingham Condos, which contains over 400 suites. The 112 the West Mall bus is especially useful, as it makes a stop right in front of the building before heading toward Kipling Station on the Bloor-Danforth subway line. A trip all the way down to the Entertainment District takes just over 1 hour when using the 112 bus and the subway.
As for those who do drive, residents can reach the city centre in 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the traffic. Residents heading out of town can also drive to Pearson International Airport in just 10 minutes. And with both the 401 and the 427 right around the corner, residents can use these major highways to reach their destinations in a hurry.
