    About 68 Shuter StreetCore Condos

If you’re a young professional or first-time home buyer who’s tired of the same old glass towers or dated brick condos, then we’ve got a treat for you.

Striking a stylish pose at 68 Shuter Street, Core Condos is a modern 26 Storey high-rise in the City Centre neighbourhood. If you’re in search of contemporary Toronto condos for sale in an exciting neighbourhood, this building should be a top your list.

From the two-tone black and white exterior to the subtle angle changes in the buildings structure, Core Condos exemplifies minimalist design from the moment you lay eyes on it. The developers sought to capture the energy and intensity of the city — and they certainly succeeded in this.

The ambiance continues into the lobby where residents and guests are greeted with lounge seating and a suspended fireplace. And if you’re concerned about amenities — don’t be. Core Condos provides a state of the art fitness centre, a café with an espresso machine, party room, common patio with barbeques, a media room, and more.

    The Suites

Designed by the highly respected people at Cecconi Simone, the interior of these suites will please even the most discerning buyer; with a range of layouts from 390 square foot studios to 775 square foot 2 bedroom + den units, there’s plenty of selection.

Of course, you don’t have to take out word for it when it comes to luxurious finishes, on a quick tour of a unit and you’ll encounter floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors in living spaces, porcelain tiles in bathrooms, composite stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, and private balconies.

What should really excite buyers, is that we haven’t even mentioned the most exciting aspect of these condos — affordability. Units in this building offer a great opportunity for first time buyers or investors, who want a modern condo in a desirable area where property values will continue to rise.

    The Neighbourhood

Residents of this building don't just have one great neighbourhood — they have 2. If you look up the word ‘vibrant’ in the dictionary you’ll find a picture of the The Village neighbourhood… okay, so that’s a bit of a stretch, but this neighbourhood perfectly embodies the word. Home to a vast selections of restaurants, pubs, cafes, galleries, theatres, and a LGBTQ+ friendly population — The Village has everything you could want in a lively neighbourhood.

From 68 Shuter Street, you have the best of this neighbourhood within your grasp. Want to spend a day shopping at one of the biggest malls in Canada? In less than a 5 minute walk, you can be inside the Eaton Centre, perusing over 200 stores for the latest in fashion and technology. Or, if you want something one of kind, there are many independent boutiques on Queen offering an assortment of options for clothing and accessories.

For those who crave entertainment — it’s all just a matter of taste. Concert goers have the famed Massey Hall around the corner, and The Phoenix Concert Theatre on Sherbourne. If the performing arts suits your fancy, you have the Ed Mirvish Theatre, Brothers in Bad Times Theatre, Ryerson theatre, and many others. There’s a cinema on Carlton for movie nights, and a cineplex at Yonge-Dundas Square.

Nightlife options are endless for residents of this neighbourhood — within the Church Street Corridor you’ll find many pubs for a drink a bite to eat such as Hair Of The Dog Neighbourhood Pub & Restaurant. If you’re looking for a buzzing dance floor there’s fly 2.0, and many choices along Yonge Street. And for craft beer connoisseurs, 3 Brewers Yonge has a great menu.

For dining, there are some amazing restaurants in the area. On Dundas, you have Curry Kitchen for Indian Cuisine, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka for Japanese, and Pizza Pizza for a slice on the run. There are cafes like Page One Cafe & Bar and Mast Coffee nearby for your morning espresso. If that isn’t enough, there are many more cozy eateries and chains on Yonge Street and throughout the neighbourhood.

    Transportation

Stomping its way to a 99 Walk Score, Core Condos is a pedestrian paradise in the heart of downtown Toronto. For a dose of nature there’s Arena Gardens, Ryerson Community Park, and St. James Park all within walking distance. If you need to go on a grocery run, you have Daily Fresh Supermarket on Church, Metro on Gould, and a Rabba Fine Foods on Jarvis.

Public transit riders have excellent service in the neighbourhood — there are east and westbound streetcars on Queen and Dundas, north and southbound buses on Jarvis and Yonge, and Queen Station is only a 5 minute walk for subway lines.

Toronto isn't renowned for its driver friendly streets, but residents of 68 Shuter Street have easy access to 2 major highways; head south on Jarvis for the Gardiner Expressway, and east on Dundas for the Don Valley Parkway.

Hands down one of the best condos I’ve lived in! Location is everything – like 3 mins from Eaton Centre, 5 mins to Dundas Square, and super close to Ryerson. Security is friendly, the amenities are solid, and the management office is on it if you need anything. The whole vibe is nice and relaxed even though it’s right in the heart of downtown. Can’t ask for much more.
